The raging flames that leapt 300 feet at Tengratila gas field in Sunamganj district early Saturday reduced to 10 to 30 feet on sunday afternoon, indicating the fury of the inferno might be over much earlier than officials predicted. But geological experts say the gas field is likely to have been severely damaged 'internally'. A tremor jolted Tengratila area at 5:00 am on Saturday two hours before the fire broke out, they pointed out.
