A general strike has been held in Bangladesh to protest against threats by various fundamentist and terrorist groups in Bangladesh. These groups and unnamed individuals have been threatening the leader of the opposition , Sheikh Hasina and her family members. The strike was called by the affiliated organizations of the main oppostion party , Bangladesh Awami League.
