SAARC meeting will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh as scheduled. There had been speculation that because of the damaging effects of earthquake and tsunami on 3 member countries of SAARC that the meeting might be postponed.
Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh Shamsher Mobin Choudhury said that there had not been any request from SAARC member countries for postponement of the meeting.
