Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. Dipu Moni described this 3 days official visit of Prime Minister Hasina to Turkey as very fruitful and important visit. She said - "a large number of business community and trade officials accompanied the prime minister during this trip, they explored the Turkish investment in Bangladesh infrastructure development, agriculture, education sector and cultural exchanges. The two countries have signed several agreement and MOUs. and an interesting protocol to link the two spiritual capitals Sylhet city of Bangladesh and Konya in Turkey. the resting places of two great Sufi, spiritual leaders - Hazrat Shah Jalal and Maulana Jalauddin Rumi. They have also agreed to extend tariff free access of Bangladesh ready made garments into Turkey".
