Foreign Minister of Bangladesh M. Morshed Khan said “ We don’t see any radical shift in the US foreign policy” with the replacement of Colin Powell by Condoleezza Rice, the former National Security Adviser to President Bush. Bangladesh is hoping for a peaceful solution of the Iraq problem and intensified efforts to implement the roadmap to resolve the Palestine-Israel conflict under the stewardship of new US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
