Foreigners are continuing to stream out of Ivory Coast to escape a rash of mob violence following French military strikes on the country's air force last week.
British citizens were the latest foreigners to be evacuated Friday, as others crowded the international airport in Abidjan to take flights out of the country.
French military officials in Ivory Coast say at least three Western women were raped during mob violence this week.
The protests erupted nearly a week ago after France wiped out the tiny Ivorian air force in retaliation for the bombing of a French army base in a rebel-held territory that killed nine French soldiers and an American civilian.
