The 49th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association's Working Party's meeting began in Dhaka today amidst boycott by the main opposition party despite last-ditch efforts by the CPA headquarters to bring it to the grand meet of lawmakers. However the conference will be formally inaugurated on October 7 by Prime Minister Khaleda Zia . The main opposition , Awami League is boycotting the conference.
