Q & A is a lively two voice program dedicated to answering mail from listeners in Bangladesh, Indian State of West Bengal and other parts of South Asia, Middle East, Far East, Pacific areas and Africa where Bangla speaking people live. Listeners' letters are acknowledged, questions on various topics are answered, their comments and reactions about VOA Bangla programs are aired through this popular program. Q & A is aired twice a week; Fridays and Sundays. The last Friday and Sunday of every month this program is devoted exclusively to VOA Fan Club activities.

SPORTS ROUNDUP
Latest news and features on American, South Asian and International Sports and Games, and interviews with noted players and athletes are presented in this program. News on all major sports and games is highlighted in this weekly program. Sports Roundup is broadcast every Monday.

ECONOMY AND BUSINESS
This program deals with the latest news on world economy, international trade, foreign exchange, debt problems of developing countries, and other subjects of interest to the business community. This weekly feature also includes interviews with American and South Asian trade and business leaders. This program is broadcast every Tuesday.

EDUCATION IN AMERICA
This program deals with latest developments in Education In America, research work, curricula, on and off campus student activities, teachers' training and scope of foreign students. Interviews with teachers and students are also presented in this program. This feature is aired every Wednesday.

MUSIC USA
This program presents American artistes, past and contemporary and also introduces different genre of American music to the listeners including pop, country, folk, gospel etc. This program is presented every Thursday.

WOMEN'S WORLD
A program on women and women's issues. Major topics and events of particular interest to women including interviews with notable female personalities visiting the United States from Bangladesh and India are presented in this program. The program pays special attention to changes in women's role in family, in The U.S., and also in South Asia. Broadcast on Saturdays.

SCIENCE NOTEBOOK
Information on current developments in the field of science, medicine and health, and technology. The program features reports on latest scientific research in the United States and abroad. Interviews with American and South Asian scientists are broadcast whenever possible. Broadcast on Saturdays.

SPECIAL FEATURES

In this program we broadcast any special programs which are not included in our other series programs. In the past we broadcast a series on the 50th anniversary of the Language Movement. Presently we have been broadcasting a program : Democracy in Bangladesh: Problems & Prospects . The program not only explores deep into the problems and the possibilities of democratic success in Bangladesh , but also reviews the history of Bangladesh - country created, amongst other things, out of democratic necessity.

This program is an adaptation of new English--USA series written and compiled by Maurice Imhoof for listeners interested in learning spoken English.
