Khaleda Bangs on Logi Boitha  Issue,  Hasina Ignores Threats on Her Life

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Sunday urged the people to vote for the alliance candidates in the ensuing parliament elections to resume the flow of development which came to a standstill during the rule of caretaker government.

She also called upon the people to choose in the coming election between anarchy of `logi-boitha' pursued by Awami League and peace and development of her party.

Addressing a mammoth gathering at Bangabandhu Udayan of Barisal, the former prime minister urged voters to elect the right persons to parliament to foil the conspiracies against the country as well as to resume development activities.

Awami League president and grand alliance leader Sheikh Hasina said yesterday that whenever the wind blows in favor of boat, attempts are made to kill her.

She said that as the daughter of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman she did not care about her life and refused to bow down head before anyone except the almighty Allah.

She said none could stop her from doing politics for the sake of the welfare of the nation by threatening to kill her.
