A workshop for the broadcast journalists of Bangladesh Betar held under the auspices of Voice of America ended on Thursday amidst providing certificates to the the participants in the workshop. Twenty five newsmen from Bangladesh Betar participated in the workshop. American journallst Arnold Zeitlin and the Chief of the VOA Bangla Service Iqbal Bahar Choudhury conducted the workshop particularly on writing and reading news materials. One of the guests in a dummy news conference was Mr Shafi Sami, the former foreign secretary of Bangladesh . Arnold Zeitlin who is now a visiting Professor in China , praises the vibrant Bangladeshi press.
