Afghan Judge Arrested for Kabul Bombing

A supreme court judge in Afghanistan has been arrested because of his alleged involvement in a deadly car bomb attack on a US security company. Police officials say Judge Naqibullah is suspected of harboring two al-Qaida members who organized the August attack on the private US.firm, DynCorp. At least 10 people were killed. Judge Naqibullah was taken into custody two weeks ago. Information about his alleged links to the al-Qaida members came during an interrogation of the two men. Authorities also say explosives were found during a raid of the judge's Kabul home. DynCorp's operations in Afghanistan include security protection for President Hamid Karzai. The company also provides anti-narcotics training to Afghan police.
