U.K. independent oil and gas exploration company Tullow Oil said it has discovered gas in its Bangora-1 well in Block 9, in Comilla, Bangladesh. The group said the gas, which is of a high quality with 99.13 pct combustible gases, flowed at an average in excess of 120 million standard cubic feet per day from a zone at 2,580 - 3,285 meter. Tullow chief executive Aidan Heavey said the group will carry out an accelerated appraisal program at Bangora.
