An official letter proteesting the push-in of Bengali speaking Indians to Bangladesh was handed over to to Indian deputy high commissioner Sarbajit Chakraborti on Thursday morning at the Foreign Office. Moreover , Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan said, “On behalf of the government, the Foreign Office wants to know from New Delhi why such a situation prevails across the border.” “Also, we requested them to settle the issue according the provisions of the international standard,” he added.
