Floodwaters are receding in Bangladesh but the flood victims are now facing the risk of contracting diseases. UN Resident Coordinator Douglas Coutts said that a UN team has started to work to analyze the situation and to coordinate immediate relief and launch an international appeal to raise funds for post-flood rehabilitation.
