With the advent of Bangla New Year 1411, on Wednesday morning , Dhaka took a festive look with hundreds and thousands of people gathering in the Ramna park to listen to the musical soiree underneath a big banyan tree. The organiser of the program , Dr Sanjeeda Khatun said that Bangla New Year's Day is the most secular occassion where Bengalees get together forgetting all the divisive elements which have proved detrimental to unity of the nationhood.
