The Leader of the Opposition in Bangladesh Parliament , Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has arrived in the Thai Capital Bangkok to attend the Second Conference of the Asian Political Leaders. Addressing the journalists , Sheikh Hasina said she will explain her party's ( Awami League) position in the conference. She alleged that many of those people who were arrested on criminal charges by the military have been released by the present government.
The ruling BNP have also sent a four member delegation to the conference under the Leadership of BNP Secretary General Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan. Mr Morshed Khan , the foreign Minister of Bangladesh, who is visiting Burma, will join the conference too.
