World leaders are meeting at the Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen.
On Wednesday, Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh addressed the summit. In her speech, she urged the industrialized nations to take immediate action in order to reduce carbon gas emission by 45 percent by the year 2020.
Mr. Mahfuz Ullah is a member of the policy making body of the International Union of Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Secretary of Center for Sustainable Development (CFSD). In an interview with Voice of America, Mr. Mahfuz Ullah said the Prime Minister rightly pointed out the necessity of emission control by the developed nations.
