Major General (Retd) Jamiluddin Ahsan, Bir Pratik was a valiant freedom fighter in Bangladesh War of Liberation .
He is also a coordinator of the Sector Commanders' Forum which has been demanding a trial of the War Criminals of 1971.
In an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service, Major General (Retd) Jamil says that people who opposed the War of Independence in Bangladesh, collaborated with the enemy forces and participated in war crimes should be dealt with.
He said then the divisions within Bangladesh could be resolved for ever. Jamil also narrated the story of how he joined Bangladesh Army at the height of Bangladesh Liberation War.
