India’s Chief Election Commissioner B.B. Tandon is going to West Bengal for a three-day visit.
Mr. Tandon will meet leaders of various political parties and also District Magistrates during his visit, official sources said. State Chief Electoral Officer Debashis Sen said show-cause notices had been issued to 30 Electoral Registration Officers for dereliction of duty during the revision of electoral rolls.
