Jyoti Basu , the former Chief Minister of the Indian State of West Bengal and a very senior communist leader has extended his support to the transport strike in West Bengal. He also expressed his dissatisfaction for the UPA government in Delhi for not accepting suggestions given by the leftist front. On Friday Mr Basu said that in order to put pressure on the government to reduce fuel prices they are ready to go to people.
