The Pakistani scientist who admitted illegally passing along nuclear secrets has been declared healthy after complaining of chest pains earlier this week.
Government officials say Abdul Qadeer Khan underwent an angiograph test on his heart and was found to be fine and stable.
Dr. Khan, who lives in Islamabad, has been under house detention since his televised confession in 2004, in which he took full responsibility for selling nuclear technology to Libya, Iran and North Korea.
Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf pardoned Dr. Khan, who is still revered as the architect of Pakistan's nuclear program.
