Budget session of Bangladesh Parliament begins on Tuesday and the main opposition Awami League has decided to boycott the budget session. Finance and Planning Minister M Saifur Rahman will place the budget for fiscal 2005-06 on June 9. It will be the fourth budget of the BNP-led alliance government that will place another budget before its tenure expires next year. The Awami League at its parliamentary party meeting has decided that its members will not take part in the passage of the next budget which it said will 'cheat and deceive 'the people.
