Indian police say bomb explosions inside two New Delhi movie theaters, showing a controversial film condemned by Sikhs, have killed one person and wounded 49 others.
The blasts at theaters located in the same west Delhi neighborhood hit 15 minutes apart late Sunday. Police cordoned off the area and the city's security forces were put on alert. Several other movie theaters showing the film in New Delhi were evacuated immediately after the explosions.
The Hindi-language movie, called "Jo Bole So Nihal," has been condemned by Sikh religious leaders who say it denigrates their faith. No one has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
