President Bush Visits Georgia after Marking VE-Day in Moscow

President Bush is visiting the former Soviet Republic of Georgia, the last stop on a European tour that included ceremonies in Moscow marking the 60th anniversary of the end of World War Two in Europe.

The president was greeted by Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili upon his arrival Monday, and attended an event in the capital Tbilisi that included folk songs and dances.

The president is set to deliver a major pro-democracy speech Tuesday in Freedom Square, which was the focus of Georgia's 2003 Rose Revolution that led to a democratically-elected government.

On Monday, President Bush and more than 50 world leaders attended huge celebrations and a military parade in Moscow's Red Square to commemorate the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War Two.
