Car bombs in Iraq killed at least 25 people Friday, and people near Baghdad found a common grave in a garbage dump for shooting victims. A suicide car bomber blew himself up in a crowded market south of Baghdad (in Suwayrah), killing at least 17 people. Another eight policemen were killed in Tikrit when a suicide bomber rammed his car into a small bus. Scavengers in a garbage dump near Baghdad found the bodies of at least 12 people in a shallow grave. Police say the victims were blindfolded and executed. Meanwhile, a new U.S. military report says coalition and Iraqi forces have recently captured more than 20 top deputies of wanted insurgent leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The report says although the Zarqawi network is significantly impaired, it can still organize enough forces for attacks.
