Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan, the Secretary General of the ruling BNP has blamed Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for failing to lead the country towards independence.
In a rally organized by the ruling party on the occasion of 34th anniversary of independence day Mr Bhuiyan said "If Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had not wasted time in the name of dialogue with Yahya Khan till March 23, the March 25 massacre could be averted," He also blamed the opposition party for its anti-government move.
