Finance Minister M Saifur Rahman yesterday blasted bilateral donors for 'interfering with the internal politics of Bangladesh and said, "If they can't adjust to our internal policy and economic programs, they can leave! We, too, are not interested in their programmes!"
He was discussing with the economic reporters forum in the city.
In support of the prime minister's parliament speech, Saifur said, "In the name of handing out bilateral aid, it's inappropriate to interfere in the political process of a country. He also said that the election process of the country would be decided by the people, the government and the opposition. It was not a concern of the outsiders.
