An alleged criminal named Monir Hussain alias Chikon Monir has been killed in a "crossfire" by the Rapid Action Batallion (RAB) in Uttora , near Dhaka. RAB sources say that during a raid at a house at Uttara , they got a number of fire arms and later arrested Munir. The sources also say that on being informed by Monir when they went to arrest his associates, they opened fire on RAB , Monir tried to flee and he was caught in the cross fire,injured and later died.
