U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will visit six Asian countries during a week-long trip starting next Monday.
The U.S. State Department says Ms. Rice will visit India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan -- where she is expected to focus on U.S. relations in all three countries along with efforts to rebuild Afghanistan. I
n East Asia, the secretary is due to visit Japan, China, and South Korea. The administration says Ms. Rice will discuss regional cooperation and efforts to jumpstart another round of six-party talks on North Korea's nuclear program.
