Indian's foreign minister will visit Pakistan next month for talks on the disputed Kashmir region. Indian External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh is expected to meet with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.
Officials say specific dates for Mr. Singh's visit have not been finalized. The visit follows recent talks between the countries' foreign secretaries in Islamabad. Two days of meetings produced no progress on topics including the Kashmir border dispute, drug trafficking and economic cooperation.
India and Pakistan have fought two wars over Kashmir since their independence from Britain in 1947.
