Malaysia's former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said in a speech at a business forum in Dhaka, Bangladesh that political stability and strong coalition among political parties help economic and business sector to develop.
He said a multiracial coalition, known as the National Front, worked together to turn Malaysia into an industrial nation from an agricultural one, benefiting the country's 25 million people - who include ethnic Malays, Chinese and Indians. Mr. Mahathir Mohammad is visiting Bangladesh.
