Naznin Seamon has recently published a new collection of her Bengali short stories called Prototo Roktakto Chitkar. In an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service Naznin says that a poet or a writer really sees through his or her inner eyes and this observation influences not only the thought but also the style and the language. She has also seen the sufferings of human beings and has tried to reflect that in her writings.
Naznin Seamon has brought in the problems which people from villages face when they flock into city; she also mentioned the difficulties which Bengali women face abroad where their dreams get sadly shattered. She is planning to write
Naznin is a student of English literature at Queens College of the City University of New York pursuing a Bachelor Degree, though she previously had her bachelor Degree from the Eden Collage, Dhaka, in 1997. Her book, Prototo Roktakto Chithkar, a collection of short stories, was published in February 2008 from Dhaka by Ananya.
